Fire and Ice Festival 2016
Here are some pictures from our first Fire and Ice Festival
Downtown Frankfort January 9th will be a bright way to beat the January blues. Over 20 ice carvings ranging from 300 to 3000 pounds. Carvers will start around 10:30 am. Zip line and other activities start at 3pm. Come for the day. Enjoy lunch in one of our fine restaurants. Shop the downtown businesses.
Zip Line Update*** WEIGHT MINIMUM IS 60 POUNDS AND MAXIMUM IS 250. A parent, grandparent or legal guardian will be required to sign for anyone under 18 before they can zip line or skate. Safety first!.
The skating is $2 for 15 minutes of skate time (not including changing shoes). If you want to supervise your child on the ice but don’t want to wear skates yourself, don’t worry! Shoe covers will be provided for anyone wishing to go out on the ice without skates. Anyone under 18 who wishes to skate will need to have a waiver signed by their parent/ legal guardian.

Trick or Treat on the Square
October 31st from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Registration for the costume contest will be at the Gazebo from 6 – 6:45pm with the Parade of Costumes beginning at 7 pm.
Prizes will be awarded for ages 4 & 5-9 and 10+ for the cutest, scariest and most creative.

Power Up Workshops – Powering the Community through Education
Mark your calendars for 12:30 pm every fourth Tuesday at Ivy Tech beginning October 28th. The first session will be: Intro to Marketing & Sales
Frankfort Main Street, Clinton County Chamber of Commerce & Purdue Extension have partnered to empower small business by providing a series of seven workshops that will help you develop a marketing plan.
The Power Up Workshop series costs $25 per small business. Feel Free to pay online at www.lnocc.org or with a check made payable to the Learning Network of Clinton County. The fee covers all instruction, course materials, and a lamindated Marketing Action Plan poster. Lunch will be provided for each session on a rotating basis by various donors.
